Last month I attended a one day social media workshop by David Taylor and Michelle Carvill. The course offered great value for money. Another thing I liked a lot was that it did not serve as a sales pitch for other courses. David and Michelle were really wonderful and they both know what they are talking about. The focus was on the overall importance, the changing way of how people of all ages communicate, declining ROI of classic marketing and 'push' vs 'pull' marketing. Twitter, facebook, linkedin and youtube were discussed in great detail and how one strategy targets different audiences, stressing importance of 'relevant content for the audience' and last but not least showing how they can be used together in corresponding applications, management platforms incl. blogging and analysing tools.
